ok, first off i would like to say that i KNOW that i spelled weird wrong on my blog header. well, actually my mom spelled it wrong. i spelled it right, but she was so completely convinced that it was incorrect that i ended up changing it. and now im too lazy to fix it! go figure...
anyways, on the 29th i flew out to utah with some neighbors who didnt know me enough to realize what they were getting into. jk:) we didnt get to utah until three o'clock in the morning because our flight was delayed two and a half hours. by that time, the people who were going to pick me up were fast asleep. so i stayed with my neighbors for the night and my best friend picked me up in the morning. we had a lot of fun hanging out for a couple days. then we went to the fourth (third) of july party where i ate three cotton candys, three things of popcorn, and two nachos. but best of all, it was all free!!!!!!!!!!! we also went to lagoon which was SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone had a blast. then i went to las vegas with my aunt and cousins. we spent most of our time swimming. we also went to the M&M store, MGM grand, the coca cola store, and an awesome petshop that had monkeys. then my aunt picked me up and we drove to california, which is where i am now. i will post some pictures in a little while.

When you live in Georgia, possibly the only way to escape the sweltering summer heat, (besides staying cooped up inside your house for months on end with the A/C on high) is to go swimming. Of course, sitting in a pool all day with the sun beating down on your arms, back, and face can have positive and negative affects.

If you are torn between light or tan skin, why not have some of both? Here is just one gorgeous example of how you can keep your porcelain skin and have a beautiful tan... AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!

If there was EVER a reason to wear a strapless swimsuit, THAT is it my friends.

Now here is a comparison between (top) person who stays cooped up in their house for months on end with the A/C on high, and (bottom) someone who goes swimming every day.

Big difference, huh?

And the one time "person who stays cooped up in their house for months on end with the A/C on high" DARES to venture outside:

Yep. When your sunburn is powerful enough to fry the zits right off your nose and replace them with blisters the size of your nostril... you know its bad.

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day we went to our neighbors parents house. We had so much fun!!!!! They had an awesome pool complete with a diving board and water slide. They also had a pond and a playground. We stuck with swimming. We ate Ribs, burgers, and plenty of fried food. YUM!!!!!!!!

One half of the pool is about two and a half feet deep, and then it drops of to ten feet. that is where the diving board and slide are.

birds, turtles, and frogs II

I said I would post pictures, so here they are: this is the birds nest in the lawn chair

we found both these box turtles on the same day in the same spot, but they are two completely different kinds, you can tell by the shell. we were gonna keep them for a couple days, but they both miraculously escaped...

these are the four frogs we found. The top left one was so cute! he was bright green on top and yellow underneath. and just so you know, yes, the blob in the top right corner IS a toad, not a chunk of who knows what...

this is the one that peed all over Dad:) we found him in the middle of the road. Its Dads twin!!!!!!!

look at how cute he is! this was possible my favorite one. I caugh him with my fishing pole :) He was by the shore so i put my bait in and would chase after it, but would swim away before I could grab him out of the water. Eventually I got tired and decided to just snag his shell with my hook.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
yesterday was moms b-day. I was gone most of the day doing a yardsale for girls' camp, but when i got back i babysat so mom, dad, and the neighbors could go out to eat. when they got back, we all went outside to eat the cake i made the day before (mom picked the flavors, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting) and ate ice cream. sadly we didnt have enough candles, but i think mom was grateful for that...

I LOVE YOU MOM! YOU ARE AMAZING!

Utah!!!!!!!!!

So i guess im coming down to utah for the summer! Yay! Ive been saving money ever since we moved to georgia. Im going to be there from June 29 to July 20. I will also be going to California and probably palisades. I cant wait to see everyone! the weather is going to be a bit different though... lately we have been going swimming every day! our neighbors parents have 90 acres of land, including a big pond and a swimming pool that they let us swim in. they have the cutest kids! i babysit for them, and they are mostly the reason i get to fly out. they have to boys, four and two years old, and a little girl that is a couple months old. they are also the closest people to us in our ward.
Grandma Simons has also helped a lot with the money for me to come, also. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! And of course my mom, who bought the ticket in the first place. Now i just have to pay her back...
and thanks to Alicia, for letting me come to the beach house with you! Oh, and the Smiths, who pretty much set the whole thing up and made it possible for me to actually come! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!

Birds, turtles and frogs

A couple days ago we noticed that a bird was making a nest in one of our folded up lawn chairs. a few days later there was an egg! then another egg! then another egg! then another egg! so far there has been a new egg every day. Lily is in love with them and goes to check on every few minutes... and Shelby goes out to check for a new one every morning. I wish that i could post a picture, but guess what! the camera is broken! luckily this time I'm not responsible for its destruction... we can all blame Cassie for that.
Along with birds, we have been finding A LOT of turtles. Over all, we have rescued about 20 turtles from certain death in the middle of the road. we have mostly found snapping turtles, including one HUGE one that my dad carried to the lake after a few attempts to eat his hands. of course as a thank you for my dads kind act of service, it peed all over him the entire time...
Three days ago it rained like CRAZY! My mom and dad went to the store and came back with three toads and a frog. the frog was so cute! it was bright, bright green and looked like a tree frog. we let them go in our backyard. all night i couldn't go to sleep because some big old toad was sitting outside my window croaking at the top of his lungs ALL NIGHT LONG.
I will try to post some pictures that we took on my dads phone soon!

Snow Day!?!?!?!?!?!?

The other day Georgia had snow!!! Everyone was excited to get outside. School got out early because of an inch of snow, which would never happen in Utah. Luckily as long as we were in school until eleven am, we would not have to have a makeup day. Thank goodness we brought our snow clothes on the move!!!We all had fun playing in the snow, and Cassidy's friend Charlize came to play, too. Alyssa and Charlize

As I said in my previous post, I have been taking cake decorating classes!!! It has been a lot of fun. For our last class we each got to design our own cake. Here is mine!!!!!!!

FINALLY finished!!! It was a lot of fun making this cake. It ended up looking pretty good!

Hi everybody!! I know it's been a while since I last posted, but alot has been going on lately.
1: WE MOVED TO GEORGIA!!!
2: THE BLOGGING WORLD HATES ME!!!!!!!!
3: I havent cared enough to fix all the problems my blog has been having.
Anyway, like I said, we recently moved to Georgia. It has been a different experience, seeing as I grew up in utah, but I like it so far. One of the big changes is that I am now in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Not really much to celebrate, but hey, Im only twelve, stuff like this is exciting for me.
I also recently started taking cake decorating classes! It is very fun, and very messy, so, of course, I LOVE IT!!!! Another nice thing about it is that it's an excuse to eat LLLLOOOOTTTSSS of frosting. I'll probably be posting more stuff about that soon.

OK, here's a tip for everyone: DON'T LET ME US YOUR CAMERA! Or any other expensive thing that you don't want broken, for that matter.
Here is my reason:
The other day I was trying to hook the camera up to the computer so I could put some more pictures on it. 1 problem: we have about ten cords to hook a bunch of different things up to our computer. So, of course, I just pick up the first one I see and try to hook it up to the camera. it doesn't fit. I pick up the next one, it doesn't fit, and so on and so on. But by shoving all the wrong cords in there I completely deform the little piece of metal in the hole that you put the plug in.when I look in the hole its all scrunched up and bent, and of course, we can't fix it.
Amazing, Huh??? You would never expect ME to do ANYTHING like that, would you.

Yeah, I thought so.

IPOD!

A couple days ago I got an ipod touch. They are awesome!!!It looks just like an iphone, but thinner. Also, they don't have a camera, which stinks, and you can't call or text. But you can have all the other apps that the iphone has. I use it all the time. I can even update my blog on it! I LOVE MY IPOD!!!

My Beautiful Blanket

For everyone's birthday this year, my mom made us a blanket. But because this was my 12th birthday and I was in Young Womens we decided that I should help and we could count that as one of my ten hour projects. (although it was more like a ten day project!)

I had to cut each individual square out, and it took forever. This white fabric was really fuzzy and by the time I was done cutting I was covered in a layer of fluff!

The finished product! It's really warm.

doughnuts, Doughnuts,DOUGHNUTS!!!

Yesterday we decided to experiment with doughnuts. It was very messy.(which was one of the reasons it was fun!) By the time we were done I was covered in flour, as was the kitchen. But the doughnuts were delicious! They were very fluffy and sweet. We got to dip the doughnuts in glaze when they were done cooking. I was in charge of the frying, which resulted in quite a few burns, but it was worth it!!! Shelby shaping the doughnuts.

I had to use the end of a wooden spoon to transfer the doughnuts into the oil, then onto a wire rack. This doughnut kept falling through the gaps in the rack.

Cassie and Shelby really enjoyed the cougars.
The CUTEST baby elephant was born at the zoo a few months ago, its name is Zuri. We were sitting there for about half an hour just watching it. She's adorable! Lily became obsessed with it and didn't want to leave : )

Birthday Party!!!

My friend Shayni (far left, second picture) was goofing off and would suddenly walk over to the wall, lean against it, tilt her head, and put her hand up to her forehead. She did this quite a few times at random moments during the party. So we all stood up against the wall and mimicked her for a picture.

My grandparents from Las Vegas called to sing happy birthday to me. While I was on the phone my friends put fake flowers in my hair. I had them there for the rest of the party.

I should probably change the name of this post to hi no one, since these are the first few minutes of my blog's life. but I decided I should have a nice name for my first post. I'll just hope that I get a few more followers, so that I'm not the only one. ( That would be just sad)
Ok. The reason I decided to make a blog is because Everyone's moved away! First Mike and Lindsey, then Jessica,(and Brian is out fighting) and of course Jon, Alicia, Curtis and Evelyn live out in the middle of who-knows-where. and you can't forget my grandparents in Las Vegas. So this is my way of keeping in touch with everyone.
