Yesterday we decided to experiment with doughnuts. It was very messy.(which was one of the reasons it was fun!) By the time we were done I was covered in flour, as was the kitchen. But the doughnuts were delicious! They were very fluffy and sweet. We got to dip the doughnuts in glaze when they were done cooking. I was in charge of the frying, which resulted in quite a few burns, but it was worth it!!!

I had to use the end of a wooden spoon to transfer the doughnuts into the oil, then onto a wire rack. This doughnut kept falling through the gaps in the rack.
